BLAKE...
This little guy is the clown in our Family. He is always making us laugh and we have NO Idea where he gets his personality. We are so reserved and shy and this kid is so not like that. I remember when Ava was little she would hide behind me when someone would talk to her and he is just giving random strangers five and is not scared of anything. Something new and different for our family but we really love him and his fun personality.

Dancing Queen

I would have to say that my Miss Ava has come
a long way since she started dance when she was 2 years old. I remember how I would take her to dance and she would cry the whole entire time. Then when she would go to preform she would just stand there and cry.

Well now she is up there dancing her little butt
off. I am so proud of her.

Last night they went to a retirement home and danced. It was so sweet. You could tell that those little ones made those cute little Nana and Papa's Day.

There was a girl in her class last night that kind of got scared when she was up there and started crying and just
standing there. It reminded me so much of Ava but my little girl was up there smiling and dancing, it was a proud moment for me.

She was being so silly and kept asking me if this was a good pose.
I love their costumes this year, so cute!

Bear Lake...

We went to Bear Lake over Memorial Weekend.
It was so cold!! There was a little sunshine where the kids
got to play outside.

Just Sewing
Stuff....

I have been learning how to sew from my sister in-law Gale who is
FABULOUS
I have been lucky that she has taken so much of her time to teach me how to sew. I have a few things I have done, right now I am working on some pillows for my Mom's house that are going to be so cute that I almost want to steal them for my house.

I was having the hardest time finding a fun animal
print shirt for Ava's birthday pictures so I just decided to
sew these cute ruffles on a black shirt.

I made these to put diapers and wipes in so they would
be more organized in my bag. I also made one for my
neighbor and sister-inlaw.

This is the bag I made.. I changed it up a little
bit from the pattern I had because I didn't really
love the ruffle and flower that the pattern came with.

Has anyone heard of Bling Strings? I put them in Ava's hair last week and I have washed them, blow dried them, straightened then and she has even been to swimming lessons and these babies are STILL in her hair!

They are suppose to last 2-6 weeks and you can do everything with them.

Something to add a little BLING BLING to her hair.

Wow they have changed a lot of things since I messed with my blog last but I think I am starting to figure it out. So I figured I would first post about the kids birthdays considering it has been a few months. My little girl turned 4 back in February lol.. am I even allowed to post about things that far back??? Blake turned 1 in March. It has been a little crazy since Brian has started school and I have had to do everything by myself.. I really don't know how single Mom's do it but they are AMAZING. Just last week I think I had a break down because my little guy was crying at me for 2 hours straight and I had done everything possible to make this kid happy or NOT but I remember saying " I just can't be a good Mom when I have to do it all by myself" Ava was like " You still are a Fantastic Mom" ha ha lol Thanks Ava. Okay so I can explain.... the past couple weeks I have been dealing with a couple sick kiddos... Ava gets it then Blake, oh and then Ava again... It has been super fun cleaning up barf!! NOT. So anyways day 16 is you celebrity crush. I wouldn't say I would just have one specific one.. I would have to say there are some seriously good lookin men out there including Mr. Bohman being on the top of my list! So if I have to choose one I would have to say Ryan Reynolds....

Today's post is something that you don't leave the house without.

Right now there are a few things I can not leave the house without or I will be in some serious trouble. I can not leave the house without DIAPERS AND WIPES and without a BINKY. These things are a must. I don't like to leave the house without my phone but most of the time I do because of so much crap you have to pack around for babies.

Don't get me wrong I would change a thing... Love those babies!!

When it comes to music I would have to say those songs that really can tug at my heart or if I can relate to them in my own life is why I love them. Music is a very powerful thing. A lot of country musicians have brought those goosebumps to my skin.

A picture of the Town you live in was Day 12.... It's MAGNA, you are lucky to find it on a map let alone a picture of it on the Internet... Our downtown area kind of freaks me out to be honest. I love where I live though, at first we were thinking MAGNA really? It has grown on us, Brian loves it because it kind of reminds him of Petaluma on his mission because they have their farms that he secretly wants lol. It is kind of our quiet little place we have grown to love.

Okay just kidding, I really don't have certain brands that I am in love with and I just have to have but I LOVE Mac Bronzer and usually like to always use it. I recently had a Mary Kay party just so that I could get free makeup and have been like some of their products. I mainly use base, bronzer, eye Shadow and mascara... not huge into makeup but can't live without it either.. if that makes any sense.

For Christmas this year all I wanted was money so that I could save up for a camera that I have been wanting. Well I thought this would take me a while but between my parents, Brian, doing some hair and the camera being on sale I was able to get the beauty on Monday... So I know I am way behind on this challenge thing... I think I have to do like 7 days just to catch up. Day 7 was your dream wedding.. I am basically going to give you a little ruff draft of my wedding because I feel like everything about that day was my dream wedding, My Mom and Dad let me have a lot of the things that I wanted to create my dream wedding. We got Married November 4th in the Salt lake Temple, When we had our very first date we went to a school dance and it was at Rice Ecceles Stadium so I thought it would be fun to have a reception there.. It was a beautiful view with the sun set.

We had a ton of fun with dancing and food... That is what it was all about for me was just to have a good fun time.. I didn't stand in a line, we just greeted people as they came in.. it was the best! We had tons of food with fruit, vegetables, rolls, a chef making crepe's... I loved all of it and that was my DREAM wedding.

This Year I turned the BIG 27!!

The plan was to go get me a new coat when Brian got off of school ... So when he got home he told me that he had a present for me and I was like " I thought we were going to go pick out a coat for me!" He said that he got me something else and that we really didn't have money for a coat... In my head I was thinking WHAT! So I went and opened the present and when I opened it there was a Eddie Bauer box and I was seriously thinking... Oh geesh what could he have possibly got me from EDDIE BAUER... I mean nothing is wrong with the store.. just not my style and it just reminds me of something that older people would wear... So when I opened the box there was the CUTTEST coat I had ever seen!! I was so proud of him, he usually doesn't pick any of my clothes out and he did such a great job. I love it. I have a picture of it, hopefully you can see it. I was in the dark so it might be hard to see.

We ended up going out to dinner with my family to Tuconos ( love that place) and then my brother took me to get a new Jazz jersey since Korver is not on the Jazz anymore he said I couldn't wear it.. Dang you Korver!! I had a really fun time with my family... It was an awesome birthday!

I had my sister in law last week help me color it brown and my hair was so blonde that the blonde was starting to show through and it almost looked like a hint of green to me so I just colored it myself Today and might of missed a couple spots in the back but nothing that can't be fixed.

Then I got the kiddos ready to go to Target so I could see if there was this Olivia thing for Ava for Christmas since I have done ZERO Christmas shopping .. So I will have to go get that Tomorrow when Ava is not with me and then went to Sam's club to get formula and bread and all that good stuff...

Then we are going to be getting ready to go to my cousin's 30th birthday, we are going to bouncing off the walls and Ava has been bouncing off the walls all day because she is so excited for it!! Then I am sure we will come home and crash.

I thought it would be fun to kind of compare Ava and Blake's pictures when they were about the same age. I think this is so funny, Ava had huge cheeks and a ton more hair. Blake does have cheeks but not quite the same size and has no hair! They totally look a lot alike. They are almost 9 months in these pictures.

Since Thanksgiving is coming up I just wanted to list a few things that I am grateful for. My Heavenly Father has blessed me in my life with so many wonderful people, I am thankful for my awesome husband that is so understanding and loving, who works super hard for our family so we can be provided with the things we need.

I am grateful to be blessed with beautiful children that I learn from every day, that put a smile on my face. I am thankful for my parents who are always there to help us in time of need. I am thankful for all my family and the love and support that they show to us . I am thankful for good friends that are patient, understanding and caring. I know that the people in your life is the most important thing on this earth. You always hear that you shouldn't worry about the THINGS in life because once you pass away they are just things and you can't take them with you, which is so true. So I want to say Thank you to all the people that have come into my families life and have touched our hearts and brought friendship because that is all that matters! Hope everyone has a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

With school starting for Ava I am always in need of some new bows but to be honest I don't want to go spend 10 bucks!!! at Quilted Bear for a set of those cute bows. With Brian starting pharmacy school and with our work cutting back I am in for any deal there is or to just do it myself.

Today My sister inlaw and I decided to make these cute little bows... I have made some before but lets just say they didn't turn out the way I wanted them too but with a little help "WALA" cute cheap bows lol.

QUESTION

How freaking cute are these ???

About a couple months ago I got the kids picture taken, oh yes and I did say KIDS
I was just realizing that I haven't even put up a picture of Blake on my blog since
he has become the new addition to the fam.

He is almost 6 months old even though he looks like he is about 8
months old. What can I say, I make them big.

My little Ava is getting so big! She will be 4 next February, she is so smart and
sassy!! Where the heck did she get that from. Well Bri can be a little sassy ha ha....
he would kill me if he found out I just wrote that. love you babe.

I love that little girl and she is such a big helper, there are some advantages to
having a girl first. she looks so much older in these pictures.

Ok and is Blake like getting ready for those ladies or WHAT!!! That face cracks
me up. He will seriously stare at somebody til they
look at him and he will give these huge smiles, so much different then my
shy little Ava girl, I love how they each have their
own little personalities.

Ok so I guess it would be a good time to update this blog. I swear I am going to get better at this.

Last week my cute little sister- inlaw help me do a little makeover on Ava's room. Ok so this girl needed a serious toy clean out and I needed to love that room so I wouldn't be so annoyed with the clutter when I walked in every time!

We decided to make these cute balls out of tissue paper oh and even better she taught me how to make some out of napkins.. they are so stinkin cute and you can't even tell they are made out of napkins.

Lets just say I love her room now!! Thanks for the help Miss Gale.

Oh and the pictures don"t do it justice... like I say my camera skills are not the best oh and it would help if you had a nice camera.. one day keily one day.

Wow it's been a while!!!

Ok so it has been a long time since I have posted. Hello since May! I don't even know if I can remember everything that happened since then, well besides the big stuff. I guess I could mention a few of those things.... Ava is potty trained!! Wahoo. Ava has started Preschool and Dance again. Ava is going to be a big sister to brother Blake in March. Brian is over the top excited about that, first Bohman boy in the family. Oh and of course we are excited too but Brian is like can't stop smiling excited lol. Brian has an interview in January for Pharmacy school here at USN so I am really hoping we get to stay here.

Those are pretty much the big things that I can remember since I am pregnant and forget everything!! That might explain why I have not posted forever because for 4 of those Months I was so sick I could barley get off the couch, I love how you forget that so easily when you are wanting to get pregnant so bad.

I have a few pictures of Ava and one of me and my huge belly already. My camera was broken again for about 4 months, hmmm I think I need a new camera!!

Dance Concert #1

This last Saturday Ava had her first Dance Concert at Wheeler Farm. She is the youngest in her dance class and she has been going since January I think. She is SO shy still and really just clings to her dance teacher, not any of the girls in her class. It is so hard for me because I just want to throw her out there and be like you don't have to cry just because some kid is looking at you. I think it is just a combination of her age and MAINLY just her personality. She does come from a couple of shy parents, I think we just know how to deal with it since we are older ha ha. I can't imagine us crying just by someone looking at us. I am hoping that she will grow out of it. It is so funny though because the owner of the dance studio always ask me if she just stays home with just me and if my mom just watches her. Well I kindly tell her that she does go to nursery and she does have a million cousins that she plays with and she has her Jocey.. so that is all she really needs right? This is why I am having her go to dance so that she can socialize a little bit. No I don't just sit in my house with her and give her my undivided attention, not possible.

So anyways about her dance concert, she did pretty good and didn't cry.. so that is a plus and she did a little booty shaking every once in a while. The funny part to me is that there is this one part in her dance where they all get on the floor and lay on their belly's and put there legs in the air and Ava just stood there looking at them like "I'm not going to do that". She still has two more concerts this next month so hopefully she will do more of her dance. I know she knows it because she comes home and does it. She just has a stubborn streak in her.

Family Vacation!!

Last Friday our family took off to San Diego for a little family vacation. It was so nice to just hang out and relax and we also have never been on a family vacation with just the three of us so it was great!

We got a 3 for 1 pass to go see Sea World, San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal park. Our favorite was of course Sea World, I think we ended up going there at least 3 times. Ava loved the " Big Daddy Fish" Shamu. We also went to the beach in New Port right when we drove in to L.A. and then we also went to Mission Beach on Mother's Day. It was so relaxing minus the sun burns we got!!! I put sun screen on my face and neck everywhere where I usually get burned and of course I got burned on my legs!! So bad that I couldn't sleep at night, I could barley walk around the zoo and my ankles are still swelling! The rest of the trip I made sure to put 50 SPF everywhere and brought a jacket just to cover my legs while we were in the sun!

Ava had a really fun time and I was actually surprised on how well she did on the drive down and back. She was such a good girl.

Basement

So I am so excited,we are finally getting part of our basement done. They started sheet rocking Yesterday and got it delivered and all hung. Today they are suppose to mud and tape and hopefully have it done by next week. I got some paint that I really like.. I am no good at painting though, I might need my Dad to come over and help me. We are doing the two toned kind of how our house is upstairs in some of the rooms. I decided on a light beige and a chocolate brown. I hope they look good together. After the painting then the base boards and then the flooring. We want to do a little kitchen area down there but can't afford the cabinets right now so we are just going to tile that part of the room and then carpet the other part. It is amazing how much smaller the room looks when there are walls up. I am excited to have an extra room though and it will be our T.V. room, which will take some time to get use to. I am so use to eating right in front of the T.V. and now if I want to I will have to go all the way down stairs. I am excited for it to be done Yeah!

Easter!!!

This Year was a really good Easter. Ever since we have had Ava, Brian has always had to work the Saturday before Easter and that is when we do a lot of our Easter stuff. Luckily he didn't have to this year. This Year we decided to head down to the Franklin Covey Field and do the Easter hunt with the Jazz bear... Ok that was crazy!! There were so many people there and I would say that it wouldn't of been worth it if the Jazz Bear didn't sneak up behind her and give her hugs and kisses. Oh course she freaked! I would freak to if I wasn't expecting a big hairy guy triple my size to come up behind me and give me hugs and kisses. It was actually pretty funny and she didn't stop talking about how he gave her hugs and kisses and how she cried, what a silly girl. The bad thing was that our camera is broken so we didn't get any pictures!

The other thing was they put the smaller ones in a different area which was good except those eggs were gone in two seconds. Ava had 4 eggs in her basket. I told Brian if she didn't see the Jazz bear and only got 4 eggs this would of not been worth it but this cute little lady came up to her and looked and her basket and started taking eggs out her sons basket and putting them in hers, she gave her like 15 eggs. I was so touched by this, I thought wow there are really some nice people in this world. She kept putting them in and I was like " that is good, thank you!"

After that Easter egg hunt we went home and gave Ava a nap and then headed over to Brians parents house where they had an easter egg hunt for all the grandkids. Then they had a little BBQ over there, it was a lot of fun to be with the family. After that we headed over to my moms and had dinner and colored easter eggs by the way is a joke with a 2 year old, she wanted to put them in the colors herself and she would DROP them in and they would splash everywhere!! Then my mom came up with this idea for her to color with crayons on them and of course she was always picking up the wet ones that hadn't dried yet.. It was still fun and she was having a lot of fun so that is all that counts.

Easter Sunday we headed over to my Mom's ward and went to church and then we went to the little America Brunch. I remember growing up and for Easter we would usually go and do this when we were little and so when they said we were doing it this year I got excited because it had been so long since we had been as a family and now I have my own little family, it was really fun and then we went back to my Mom's and we each got an Easter basket which my parents do every year for us. I got this cute little bag full of candy and lotion and body spray and wash and just some hair things and stuff and Brian got a tool bag kit thing with some candy also. Ava got this lego wagon thing full of candy, lip smackers, movie, books, play dough and she got a lot of summer clothes which was nice. Brian and I also gave her an Easter basket with candy and a summer outfit and this lawn mower that blows bubbles. I would say she had a pretty good Easter. Later after our baskets we always have a Easter egg hunt with money and this time Ava got the most eggs. My mom figured she got enough for Easter that Brian and I could split her money that she got.. I wasn't going to argue :) Thanks Mom and Dad for making our Easter such a great time.

Funny Girl!

SO Ava said the funniest thing Yesterday. Well at least Brian and I thought it was pretty funny. So Ava for some reason doesn't like any types of meat except chicken nuggets. So Yesterday Brian gave her one of these mini corn dog things and she starts eating it and when she gets to the hot dog.... she starts pulling it out and shakes her head at Brian and says " me no yike chit-ten" LOL. I said honey that is not chicken that is a hot dog and then she said " me no yike dog". I love that she is starting to talk so much, she makes me laugh.

Wow it has been almost a week since Ava's birthday party. I actually just got the pictures on Tuesday because our camera is broken and Brian's Dad had to put the pictures he took on a CD for us. Anyway I am hoping everyone had a fun time at Jungle Jim's. I know Ava was a little scared of the rides until they actually started going and then she stopped crying... It was Ava's birthday Yesterday! I can't believe that she is 2! It seems like I just had her and she was all quiet and sleeping all day and now I can not get her to be quiet! She is talking so much! It is so funny how moms know exactly what they are saying.. well of course because we are with them all day and then Nana or Brian will be like " what did she say"? and I totally know and they are like how the heck did you get that out of what she just said! I was trying to think of some funny things that she does so that I can look back and remember them..

I think one of my favorite things right now is when a song comes on in the car I will start singing it and then she will start singing but this is how her songs go EVERY time... " my Nana and my Papa and my Moma and my daddy and my jocey and my baby and my roxy and my cor cor and my bai and my paper and my pillow"... LOL she just throws in random words of all things I guess she loves in her life.. it makes me laugh ever time and I don't want her to hear me laughing because then she will stop singing and I think it is so cute, I don't want her to stop! Another thing that is so funny is when she is talking to me and I am in outer space for a few seconds, she tilts her head and gets right in my face and her eyes... oh my heck I can't explain them but they look like " Are you Listening to me"! then I just start laughing. She make me laugh every day, she is just one big Drama Queen! Brian and I can not get enough of her. The one thing right now that I hope she grows out of is that she is so shy and scared of anyone who even looks at her, I really hope it is the age and she will grow out of it... I still have a little shyness in me!

So Yesterday we had a fun day with her, First Brian made us breakfast and had his parents come over, then his parents took her to go pick out a present at the store for her birthday and she picked this baby that moves and laughs... it is a little annoying but she thinks it is so funny, oh and she got a cute little shirt. Then we came home, opened presents from us.. she got a movie and a Big Wheel bike.. Don't ask ( Brian wanted her to have one really bad). Then we went to Chick-fil-A for lunch and then Build a bear. She thought that was pretty cool and wanted to carry it all the way through the mall! We asked her if we could help and she said No!

After that we took her to see Bolt in the Dollar movie theater since she has never been and she thought that was so cool, she even talked about it Today! She said she needed her " coke and Pop-Norn".. What a goof. Then to end the night we went with my family to the Old Spaghetti Factory where she LOVES to eat! She got a few toys from my parents and brother and a ton of clothes that are much needed! It was a fun and busy day! She just has her birthday party on Saturday at Jungle Jim's which I hope she will like!

So I went to the Katy Perry concert last night with my Sister-in-law Hannah. Oh my heck! I am not going to lie but at first I was like Hannah this is crazy.. It was at The Venue and so it wasn't a very big place and we waited outside for 45 min in line... Yes I was wearing flips flops and it felt like my toes were going to break off! Then we get inside and people are pushing us and dancing up on us! There was this one guy in front of me holding onto his girl friend the whole time and he kept flipping his hair right in my face! Yeah it was pretty gross.

I had to kind of push some people if they got to close so they didn't step on my feet! Oh and it gets better!!! Then they start Mosh Pitting!! Hello at a Katy Perry Concert... she herself even said that it was a little weird! LOL so I just screamed the whole time and hoped not to get smashed... Then we ended up more in the back since we were like 5 rows from the stage... but at least back there we didn't have the gay guy dancing up on us and telling us to " get over it honey" Lets just say it was quite the Adventure!

Oh and the best part... Well we wore shirts that say " I kissed a Vampire and I liked it" . I know a little crazy compared to my stay at home mom life. Hannah has all the pictures so hopefully I can get them from her since I of course didn't have my camera charged before we left!

Come What May, and Love It....

So I would have to say that this last Year has been one of the hardest for me. To tell you the truth I don't really know why I am sharing this because it touches a certain place in my heart that is very tender to me. I guess I feel the need to.

It is hard for me to talk about this because I know certain people who have gone through the same thing or are going through it now. Some might think that this is nothing compared to some but for me personally it is very hard so I can not even Imagine others who have had to go though it even longer then I have. So I am sure most of you know exactly what I am talking about but for those of you that don't.. I have been trying to get pregnant for almost a Year now, it is a very frustrating thing and recently I have come to find out that one of my biggest fears that I had while growing up has finally come true. ( having a hard time getting pregnant) The hardest part is that I have been there done it, I have one beautiful Daughter who I love to death. So I think to my self and sometimes out loud...WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!!!

This last Saturday I went to go get some blood work done and hopefully soon I will be able to find out if there is anything wrong and if not we can go from there.

I will have to say that I have learned a lot from this trial that I am going through right now. I have learned patience, I have learned that these little babies are a MIRACLE and I am so thankful to have one, I have learned to be sympathetic to other people and the heart aches they are going through. I have learned and this one just recently only because it took me a while not to be bitter about this whole thing, Come What May, and Love It.. Wow even now it is hard for me to say because really it is very hard to love what is going on right now.. This saying came from a talk that I read in the Ensign given by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin and it really hit that spot where you finally have to wake up and look around you and be grateful for everything you have now. I know this is just a trial that will be for a little while and one day I will look back and probably forget how hard it actually was but for now I think I will just Learn from it and Love it!

I will tell you one thing... This little girl keeps me going and smiling Every Day!

New Calling....

Last week I was called to be the ...... drum roll.... Laurel Advisor. So ever since I have been out of Young Women's I have been called to Nursery and one time I was called to teach the 6 Year olds.

So this is kind of like a big girl calling.. It sounds kind of funny but I have been with two year olds so long that it is actually nice to understand what these girls are saying. I am a little nervous but I am also very excited to learn from these wonderful girls and hopefully I can be a good example to them.

I don't have to teach for a couple weeks but when I do... Wish me luck :)

Yesterday Ava had her first day of dance. She is getting so big but for some reason she still needs her Mommy right by her side. She was crying so hard when I left her in there so the teacher suggested that I go and sit in the class with her for a minute.

She warmed up a little after that.

Our Sledding Adventure

Ok so I don't even remember the last time that I went sledding but Brian kept bugging me about it ever since we had a big snow storm. So I finally was like ok we can go sledding.. Something we could do as a family and not cost any money, well except the $13.00 Tube! One dinky little tube $13.00.. anyway I got a few pictures right before we went of the little munchkin! Every time we went to go down the hill she would say either " I want my daddy" or " I want my mommy" whoever was not going down the hill with her. She didn't cry so that is good I guess, but we were getting really tired after carrying her up the hill a million times!

With Christmas only a couple days away I just wanted to wish everybody a Very Merry Christmas!

This Year I would have to say is one of the years where I truly took to heart the true meaning of Christmas, mainly because this year I have really realized all the many blessings I have and realized what Jesus Christ did for us so that were are able to be here and make our choices freely. We had a lesson a few weeks ago about what the birth of Christ meant to us and it really opened my eyes to realize that he went through everything that we are going through now plus 50 times worse. Just when you think that something in your life is just at it's worse then you see someone going through things that you can't even imagine. I feel like I have learned a lot from my trials this year and I am thankful for that, it has made me become a better person and really I think that is why we go through our trials, so that we can become better people.

Also with this Economy I have had friends and family going through some rough times and it really makes me realize how blessed I am to have a hard working husband, a nice warm house to live in, clothes to keep us and our daughter warm, food on the table, our cars so that we able to get to places we need to, our jobs so that we are able to pay our bills and get the things we need. Set aside all the material things and the things that I am most grateful for is the Gospel in our family, I am thankful for my parents and what they taught us growing up, I know our lives would not be the same if it wasn't for the gospel, I am thankful for Family and Friends that are always supportive, I am thankful for my husband and for my daughter who brings joy to our life. I hope everyone can look at the true meaning of Christmas and all the blessing you have in your life, it truly makes Christmas the best. I hope everyone has a great Christmas.

I have been trying to stay busy lately so I don't die of boredom and to keep a little stress off the mind. Anyways Tomorrow is my Dad's Birthday and it was kind of hard for me to come up with a card to make so I just decided to decorate this Hollister bag that I had. It is kind of an old picture of Ava but I thought it was cute!! Hope you have a great birthday dad.

I also tried putting this paper on this star that my mom had bought... Holy cow I thought it was really hard.. I am not that crafty but man it was hard for me. Ok so the title is lame but I didn't know what else to put. I got this star from my Mom on Saturday. She had got them on Sale at Roberts and she got them so we could put this Christmas paper over them.

Well when I first saw it I was thinking now THAT would look good in my bathroom. So she didn't even realize that my bathroom was this blue color and when I pointed out that the star would just look awesome by itself.. she was like yeah but I don't really have blue in my house and I was like well my bathroom and it ended up matching perfectly and she let me keep the other star to put the Christmas paper on. So she is going to have to get another star for herself, what an awesome Mom I have. I hope those were turn out good.

On Wednesday my Sister-in law Hannah and I went out for dinner and a movie. She totally surprised me when she went to go pay for everything!! I was like what the heck..I guess it was a early birthday outing.. It was a fun surprise and we had a lot of fun. I had to show her this movie that I had seen with some of my girlfriends a week or so before because the movie was HILARIOUS! We even did a few moves of one of the girls on the movie or should I say guys.. to tell you the truth you couldn't tell the difference.LOL Thanks Hannah for such a fun night!

Brian took these pictures the other day, I thought they were funny. Ok not only does she have a baby and purse in her hand she also put these string things on for a necklace and she is pushing the baby stroller...Wow talk about Multi-Tasking.. LOL. Last night Brian, Ava and I were able to go to the Jazz game thanks to our friends Brett and Kathy. I know Brian actually got the night off right... Kathy got these awesome Lower Bowl tickets and we could see the Jazz bench perfectly... Well I had to put my glasses on to see their faces but still it was Awesome... As you can guess I forgot my camera... I know, I know Booooo! but you are just going to have to imagine us hot sexy kids having a good time. Thanks Brett, Kathy and let me not forget Bella for inviting us it was a ton of fun! A Little on The Stressed side

Lets just say that this last week or two we have been a little on the stressed side. Brian is getting pretty close to being done with school so he can apply for Pharmacy School. We have been working on this application for USN Pharm D program. You have to write five essays which I didn't think were very easy to answer.. You basically have to sell your self to this school and tell them everything wonderful about you which is great but sometimes it is like OK am I sounding a little too cocky. I don't know maybe we are looking into it a little to much but this is what is going to get his foot in the door. There is nothing else that they can go by at this point.
I feel confident about this and I know like with everything else in life the lord has a purpose for us and even if we don't understand right in that moment why it is happening, one day I think we can look back and be thankful and know the reasons. I feel like a lot of things in my life lately just are not fitting into that perfect little place I want them to be and I know right now I don't understand it and I can get really upset about it but then again I just have to think there is nothing I can do better then what I am doing right now so it is out of my hands.. I know that if Brian is suppose to go to this school then he will and I am just really hoping we get to stay here and not move to IDAHO if he does get accepted there then I guess that is where we are suppose to be. To tell you the truth I just hope he gets accepted anywhere at this point. I would hate to wait a whole nother year for him to apply.

Last night my dad took Ava and I to the Jazz game! We had a lot of fun, I think Ava's favorite part was the Jazz Bear and of course mine was to see Korver out on the court LOL. Saturday Morning my mom, Ava and I drove up to Idaho to see my Grandma, she has gotten really sick lately and has not been eating very much and just is forgetting a lot. It was really hard to see her in that condition but I really tried to prepare myself. Even though she is so sick she is still the same charactor that I have always known. She is so funny and goofy, every time I go and see her she always asks me if I remember this one time when her and I went to this gas station to get drinks and we were just singing in the store and acting all goofy... This last time I saw her she asked me about 3 times if I rememberd that day and of course I do, it is good to know that it is still a funny memory that she has of us. I hope and pray that she will start feeling better soon, it will be really hard to see her go. I had to get a picture of all of us girls while I was there so we could have a 4 generation picture. Try not to judge the picture to much, we didn't get ready at all, it was just before we left this Morning and right after we had woke up.

This year was pretty fun for us on Halloween, it was Ava's first time were she kind of got the idea even though every time we would put here on someones porch and ring the door bell she wanted to walk the other way. I don't know how well she liked the door thing but we did go to my mom's work and thought she could take about three pieces of candy instead of one and of course everybody let her. Brian just bought this paint kit with devil horns at wal-mart and I pulled out an old costume I had the year after I graduated from high school... a little scary and a little tighter to say the least. Hey at least I dressed up right. Ava was a cute little witch even though her hat wouldn't stay on because of her big head but people got the idea so that is all that counts.

So I think that the last time that I posted was like a Month ago and I was trying to think of some of the new things that have happened this month that I could catch up on. I know that the post isn't the same without pictures but I don't really have any new pictures. So far this Month Ava is now in her Big Girl Bed which is nice except Brian has still not taken her crib down so we have both beds in her room, it's a little packed to say the least. I am suprised how well she has done though, she just goes to bed and doesn't come out until she is done with her nap or till the morning and she falls asleep by herself so I don't have to wait till she is asleep for her to go to bed which is nice. She really has been really good with the whole sleeping thing since she was a baby so I know the next one won't be so nice. There is going to be some fun times coming up with the Holidays so hopefully I will remember my camera!!!

Wii Fit

SO I bought the Wii Fit the other day. I don't have a Wii LOL BUT my parents do and they hardly ever use it so I kind of stole it from them while they are on there Alaskan cruise ( no they didn't take me, how rude!) Anyways I worked out for like 30 minutes Yesterday and Today and I am SO sore!!! I know I have not worked out in a while but come on. The funny thing is that it said I lost two pounds but I am sure it must of been the clothes I was wearing the day before, I doubt I lost two pounds in an hour of working out. So I got on the scale before I started working out on Wednesday and then I checked it after it said I lost two pounds and I really did loose two pounds!!!! Like I said it must have been the clothes. I am hoping to see a little bit of change soon so wish me luck, I usually only last a week on this whole working out thing.

This last Friday we went out to dinner for my Mom's birthday. We went to Red Lobster, it was so yummy and fun to get all the Family together. I can't believe how big our little girl is getting. She is going to be 18 Months this month and it is hard to think that she is going to tackle nursery at least twice a month by herself seeing how we are in there every other week. Yesterday we went to Lagoon. It was way fun. Ava went on some rides for the first time. I thought on some of them she was going to have a heart attack even though she didn't really cry she just had this really scared look on her face. Shut Down Mode!!!!

So for the last two days I will have to admit that I have been in SHUT DOWN MODE! Ever since the forth book of the Twilight Saga has came out that is all I have been doing is reading! I have went as far as not caring whether or not the house is clean, slightly ignoring Ava and getting really irritated when she is yelling my name fifty times in one minute, SSHHHHING my husband,staying up in the wee hours of the night and staying in my jammies for most of the day. Hello can they not see I am reading here! LOL. Sorry I just can't help it, once I start I can not stop. I am sure they are going to be very happy by Tomorrow when I will be done with my book but until then can you back up off me PLEASE. I am kind of sad this is the last book and I am sure I will not be able to get into any other books after reading these. Oh I forgot to tell a funny thing that happend Today, I think Ava is so sick of me reading that she was just like please go put me down for a nap so I don't have to see you reading anymore, she brang me her blanket and asked for her bink and starting laughing in excitment when I asked her if she wanted to go night night... Obviously it has gone a little far!

Our family had so much fun on the 24th. We went out with our friends Hilary and Patrick. We went to the Italian Village which is sooo good! Then we went back to our house and played some games. This one game that they brought made me laugh so hard. It would be way fun to play with a big group of people. It was called CURSES. I had never heard of the game but just to let you in on how funny the game was you have to start out with a challenge... I think one of mine was to convince them why dogs are better then cats but then you have to give someone a curse and my first curse was that I couldn't bend mt elbows the whole game(which after a while they got kind of stiff!)Then you just keep getting more curses, some of them were so funny. One of Patrick's was he had to put his arms to his chest so that he would only have one inch arms and one of Brian's was every time he laughed he had to make a straight face and say " That's not funny". Anyways it was really fun! Thanks guys for hanging out with us,we had a lot of fun. ( sorry I don't have pictures because I never remember to take them).

So I know that when kids get a little bit older they have there favorite things, whether it be a BINKY that I am not looking forward to getting rid of but have to soon since she will be in nursery next month! She is getting so big! or if it is a blanket. Ava has just recently been clinged to this blanket,whenever we are home she has to have it and she will take my hand and go to her crib so I can get it out for her.
One time I just grabbed one and handed it to her and she was like No mom that is not the right one, that is when I knew she had a favorite blanket. This blanket I got from my friend Kathy, I just think it is funny that she just wants that blanket, she has a million blankets but this one is her favorite.

Visiting Teaching

Our ward just came up with this AWESOME new way of doing visiting teaching, we have a group of ladies that all get together. I thought it was so great because who doesn't want to get out of the house and go chat with a group of ladies especially if you have kids and a SICK husband you had been taking care of all week long! Which might explain why I haven't blogged in a while. It has been one of those weeks! Anyway it was so much fun to get together with our group and not to mention to have SHELLEY in our group, she does the cutest things for us and is always making us laugh! Camping Trip

So I think I might of survived the camping trip. I was actually ready to go home on Saturday but I stuck it out for a couple more days. I think Ava was ready to go home also. Brian was sad when we were leaving and for me it was pretty much the best part about the whole camping trip. LOL. No I did have fun and the food was so good, I just could not be that dirty any longer. The first day I got this really bad sunburn and it was hard to sleep that night but it got a little better as the nights went on. Ava loved the 4 wheelers, we took her on a little ride to the lake and she just sang the whole way there and then every time Brian went to go on a ride she wanted to go also. I was surprised how well she did camping, she even took naps every day! So over all it was fun to have all his family there and we did a lot of fun things I just wanted to get home to running water and a nice WARM shower!

Can I just say that I HATE weeds! Tonight at 8 o'clock I decided to pull some weeds in my yard because they were getting bad and Brian has been sick along with Ava and he is so BUSY that the yard never gets done. I worked out there for an HOUR and only got the little walk way flower bed done. It was a joke. I might attempt the HUGE flower bed ( if you know where I live then you know which one I am talking about)Tomorrow but I am sure I will have to do a million things before we go camping on Thursday. Wish me luck! AAHHH! Oh and there is no way I am taking a picture of all of them, it is far to embarrassing!

So those of you who don't know a lot about me I come from a family of 2 kids, I have one Brother so ever since I was thinking about starting a family I had always wanted a big one because I thought having just my Brother and I was so boring! This last week I have CHANGED my mind!!! I originally wanted 6 kids but that has changed down to 4. I know every time I tell someone how many kids I want they freak out and when I think about it I just don't think that 4 is that much but after dealing with throw up and all the other stuff that comes along with that I for SURE only want 4. Not to mention Ava is going through the stage that if someone looks at her she cries so hard that she stops breathing ( I guess that runs in Brian's family). The truth is that I don't think that I have the patients for 6 kids.

To tell you the truth I could not even think of a title for this post. I tried posting earlier and my pictures wouldn't upload, so much for that. Just to let you in on what the family is up to.. We are getting ready to go camping.. AHH Brian thinks it is Christmas again and I am sorry to say I don't feel the same way. We are going for 5 DAYS which is a very long time with a one year old. I guess we will see how it goes. I just hate being dirty for that long but this is the only trip that all of his family goes on so I guess I will make the best out of it. Not saying there will be pictures of me but I will try to get some of the fam.

This last weekend we went down to Park City to see my Family that had come in from Denver, We were so excited to see them, they had not even seen Ava yet so it was fun to show her off even though she is going through this stage where if you look at her she freaks out! Anyways we got a couple pictures of us and then Ava with my cousins little girl Gracie, it was sure fun to see them and hang out. I hope we get to see them again soon.

We Are Alive!

I know I have not posted on here for a LONG time! Really there is no excuse just that our lives are not really that exciting at the moment. LOL. If we do something that is fun then of course I forget the camera. There are a few things that have been going on since I last posted. We went to our families cabin in Bear Lake, I had this big surprise party for Brian's birthday at chili's this last Friday and really that is about it. Oh and Ava is learning all these new words which is kind of fun but now we have to watch what we say.

Well we have some other fun things coming up this summer so hopefully I will remember my camera!

Mother's Day...

Today was an awesome day! I woke up to breakfast,flowers and a super cute card. Not to mention I got to go to the JAZZ game Today!!! It was such an awesome game and I was so excited to go. My brother has season tickets and my Mom was able to buy them from him at a good price and she gave them to Brian and I for my Mother's day present. I love her, she is such an awesome Mom. Brian also let me get a sentsy candle thing for my Mother's day present last week that I am so excited to get. I am so thankful for such a wonderful Husband, he made my Mother's Day perfect. Oh and how can I forget about Ava, she also made my Mother's day perfect with all of her kisses Today. Thanks guys!

Todd's Wedding

Friday was Brian's brother Todd's wedding. He is number 9 in the family so they only have one more that has to get out of the house! It was a fun day, the grandkids all looked so cute, girls in all yellow and boys with thier blue ties.

As I was thinking what to title this post the best word that came to mind is THANKFUL. I have not posted on here for a long time and it is because it has just been one of those weeks. I could list a million things that went wrong this week but I am not going to even start. Today I finally have had some time to just think back about this week and think of what I could of done different. Just when you think you have your life all planned out the way you want it to be then something changes, I realized Today that you just have to roll with the punches and just be thankful for the things you have now. I am so stuck on all my plans that I want for the future that I can't even be thankful for the things I have now. " Count Your Blessing" came into my head Today for some reason and it really made me think of all the blessings I really do have and of course my little girl came into my mind as the song was going through my head, I am really lucky to have her and even though this week I felt like pulling my hair out, life is really good. I just need to look at all the good things that we have and just focus on them. I think I am so worried about all the negative things that Ava is doing that I don't even consider all the positive things that she does and starting Today I am going to try and focus on all the nice and positive things she does.

I know Mothers Day is Tomorrow and I was thinking of what I could do just to be a better Mom, sometimes I feel like I am not doing anything right and I am constantly thinking of how I can handle any situation that comes into play without screaming lol. I guess I fell like that is all I am really doing. I am sure I will learn as some more Bohman kids come along but it is always nice to hear other people's advice. I have a feeling I am in trouble because she is only 1 and I just don't know what to do with this little sassy girl. I know when I look back I am just going to laugh but for now I am THANKFUL for all my blessings, especially AVA!

More toothpaste PLEASE!

So I don't know about you but the only way I can get my kid to brush her teeth is if she does it which is pointless because all she does is suck on the tooth brush! Then she begs for more toothpaste! Once in a while I can FORCE myself in there and get her three little bottom teeth LOL. Oh and I finally figured out why she has been whining every five minutes and wanting me to hold her ALL THE TIME,She is getting her 1ST YEAR MOLARS. Oh so fun.

I don't know why I think this is so funny but I do. Brian can be such a dork sometimes but that is why I love him. He put Ava's bumbo chair on his head and Ava wanted it off so bad. Yes I still put her in this when I am feeding her like rice cereal because she is stuck and can't move, best invention ever!
